Level 3 Railway and Entrepreneurship loan
Did you know that if you are 19 or over and applying to study at level 3 or above, you could be eligible for a student loan!
You can up skill your competence, learn to run your own business or make a career change.
How do you qualify?
To qualify, you must be:
• Aged 19 or over on the first day of your course (there’s no upper age-limit)
• Living in the UK on the first day of your course and have lived in the UK, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man for three years immediately before this
• Enrolling on an eligible course at level 3 and above which includes Access to HE Diplomas, other Diplomas and Certificates
The earliest you will start repaying any loans is the April after you leave your programme and only when your annual income is over £21,000. You will stop paying if your income drops below this amount, for example:
Up to £21,000 – Repay £0
£22,000 – Repay £7 per month
£25,000 – Repay £30 per month
How do you apply for a loan?
You can apply online to Student Finance England using the online application form, or you can download the forms and apply by post. Before you apply you will need to have a ‘Learning and Funding Information Letter’ from us, Pendersons Ltd. If your loan isn’t approved when you enrol for your course, you will remain liable for payment of your full course fees to Pendersons. Once you’re approved, you will no longer be liable.
